The Park Nursery is situated in Woodside Crescent in the vibrant park area of Glasgow and is easily accessible from both the city centre and west end. The nursery operates from 8am-6pm and is fully inclusive of all childrens needs and requirements. The nursery has a security entry system and benefits from CCTV throughout. The nursery is divided into three floors. The Baby Room (0-2 years old) is on the ground floor, Tweenies (2-3 year old) in the basement and Kinders (3-5 year olds) in the sub-basement.
We are in partnership with Glasgow City Council and have funded places available for children aged 3-5 years old! We are also registered with HMRC tax-free childcare.
The children of The Park Nursery enjoy daily outings to Kelvingrove park, the library and have close links with the local community. Extra curricular activities are offered throughout the year, we have stay and play sessions, a safari park nursery trip in June each year and 2 parents evening per year! We have Tumble time, Dance lessons and take the children to bookbug sessions. We also have our own minibus to plan some trips throughout the year.
We hold an annual Ceilidh for the children and parents to participate in and over the past few years Christmas at The Park has also included a visit from Santa, his Elves and his very real Reindeers! This has rapidly become a Christmas feature which is much loved by Staff and Children alike!
The nursery is bright, warm and welcoming, well stocked with toys and equipment to stimulate the children in all areas of their development and help new children settle in quickly. The children's learning is displayed on our Online Learning journals where you can track their next steps and achievements here at The Park Nursery!
